Currently Charlie is collaborating with Greg Alan Reese (banjo). Together, they are developing new arrangements to Charlie's original work and composing new music together. In addition to their own music, they continue to expand their knowledge of traditional American folk songs. The wealth of material comes together for dynamic live performances that shares influences both historical and modern.
       Greg's background as a rock guitarist was one of a solid rhythm player with tasty licks. A band could depend on him to push the sound passionately forward while being firmly rooted into the groove. More recently, Greg has turned his attention toward banjo. His new passion for bluegrass coupled with his roots in funk soul and rock, come together like a Earl Scruggs/Bootsy Collins/Bela Fleck/Keith Richards hybrid.
       Close friends since their mid teens, they have common early musical influences and shared their earliest experiances together both in the studio and onstage. This long friendship gives them an uncanny ability to anticipate each other musically allowing for tight arrangements and spontaniuos musical magic.
          Charlie's laid back soul comes to full life with the energy Greg channels through the strings of his banjo.
